Position also provides general support to the Mechanical Testing department.

Essential functions and responsibilities:

Conduct basic and common testing techniques with proficiency, and within appropriate protocol for machine and customer specifications. Accurately determine test results, which can include pass/fail or material composition for research purposes. Utilize a variety of testing and analysis software. Prepare reports with test results by completing appropriate template. Perform failure testing on occasion as requested by customers. Perform ongoing general machine maintenance, and alert management of any machine repair needs that cannot be performed internally. Perform pre- and post-test measurements on specimens. Perform other duties as needed.

Position requires incumbent to wear personal protective equipment including gloves and safety glasses. Steel-toed boots are preferred.

First Shift:

7am to 3pm.

Alternative Shift:
