Direct Summary Provides technical support to debug and troubleshoot production issues for test, subassemblies, production equipment, including or other related company products. Sets up tests and test sets and performs the debug of test fixtures, test cables, and other test equipment. Help set up, operates, and adjusts test sets and auxiliary equipment. Assists engineers and senior technicians on production issues. Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Knowledge of electrical, electronic, and principles of operation. Knowledge of the setup, operation, and maintenance of specific equipment sets used in manufacturing processes. Knowledge of electronic circuitry and testing and debugging procedures. Ability to use hand and power tools required for test assembly. Knowledge of mechanical measurement, calibration and test equipment, their uses and applications. Ability to analyze equipment and systems, troubleshoot problems and make appropriate repairs. Knowledge of digital electronics and repair methodologies. Knowledge of personal computers and Windows applications. Typical Experience At least 1 year of experience as a support test technician, test operator or relevant experience is an advantage. Typical Education High vocational diploma in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
