Qorvo has an opening for a Test Technician at our Richardson TX facility. Candidate must be capable of working within functional teams to support production, process, and development efforts within the assembly and test organization.Responsibilities:
Sustain test operations within the package assembly facility. RF tester setup, calibrations. Test handler setup, maintenance, fixture repair, production test Electrical Strip Testing and Single Component Test System, circuit, and component level troubleshooting and repair. Mentoring and assisting operators and technicians in the area as needed to facilitate teamwork to enhance productivity. Assist in review and creation of technical documentation Position requires working full-time Monday - Friday. Need to work cross functionally with R&M, Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality to ensure appropriate and timely support of processesQualifications:
High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred 2+ years relevant work experience. Good understanding of semiconductor manufacturing or semiconductor test is desired. Knowledgeable in RF Test. Testing includes S-parameters, noise figure, power, pulsed power, high power RF, TOI, and ACP Proficient with test equipment including PXI systems, RF sources, pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, noise figure analyzers, power meters, power supplies, and digital multi-meters This role will require supporting a manufacturing facility that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Position will demand large amounts of time working in a cleanroom environment Strong problem solving skills, and hands on ability are critical to this position. Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with operations, equipment support, and engineering in a dynamic, team-based results-oriented environment. Ability to drive changes through Lean projects and willingness to set an example by following factory policies and protocols. Experience with Microsoft Excel for graphing and data analysis, Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems, preferred. Understanding of DoE, SPC, and other statistical tools/methods. Some lifting and standing will be required. Occasional lift up to 50lb.Preferred Qualifications:
