Job Description
Job Title:
Electrical Test Tech III Job Description As an Electrical Test Tech III, you will be responsible for the 5DX verification testing, diagnosing, and repairing of electronic circuit board assemblies. You will ensure compliance with all procedures within the company security policy and contribute to the overall efficiency of the diagnostic and manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair electronic circuit board assemblies to component level. Exhibit proficiency in using electronic test and measurement equipment. Understand and utilize assembly documentation, including bills of materials, visuals, deviations, testing tools, and procedures. Analyze fault data output and perform necessary rework. Escalate issues to the process tech in the event of a borderline fault. Assist the Test Engineering department in data evaluation programs to improve diagnosis efficiency. Work as a team member to achieve the Diagnostic/Manufacturing department's process yield goals. Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations. Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy. Take the annual re-certification of operator and pass the subsequent test. Essential Skills Proficiency in loading/unloading trucks, mechanical operations, and understanding blueprints. Experience with light industry production lines and quality standards. Strong skills in diagnostic testing and coding, including Flash Software and Command Prompts. Electrical testing computer skills and assembly production experience. Ability to use micrometers and perform final inspections. Knowledge of C/C++ programming languages. Additional Skills & Qualifications Advanced PC skills, including familiarity with Windows-based operating systems. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Competence in reading and understanding visual aids, simple instructions, correspondence, and memos. Mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Erda, UT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
