This position is expected to begin in Summer 2026. This internship will provide exposure to a wide range of activities relating to traffic engineering. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: Conduct traffic engineering calculations and design under the supervision of an experienced traffic engineer. Create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings for traffic engineering projects under the supervision of an experienced engineer. Collect and analyze data under the supervision of an experienced engineer. Use computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems. Work with design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, SignCAD, Synchro, CENTRACS, and other applicable programs. Work with microsimulation software such as VISSIM and Synchro or TransModeler to create traffic models and simulations. Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another related field. Must have completed two years of qualified study. Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Basic knowledge of Microsoft 360 Software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Strong written and verbal communication skills.
