Electronic (Using your CalCareer Account) Job Description and Duties Under the supervision of the Senior Transportation Engineer, the incumbent performs various non-professional engineering tasks related to transportation field office work. The incumbent works on an array of projects which could include Specialty, High Profile and Innovative contracting projects such as Design Build, Progress Design Build and Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC) as an engineer technician to ensure contractors are in compliance with the contract documents (Standard Plans, Standard Specifications, contracts plans and Special Provisions) and/or in a construction support role to the field engineers. The incumbent will be assigned work based on Divisional and/or Departmental needs.
