Window Assembler

Shifts:

1st Available. Must be ok with OT and Saturday work ( Saturday 8 Hour shift ) Mon-Fri Schedule during peak 5AM-5PM, actual schedule 6am-2:30pm Bilingual/Spanish- is a Plus Pay range: $18.50 Responsibilities Assemble window frames, sashes, and glass units using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment Operate heavy machinery and equipment such as forklifts and other heavy-duty tools to handle materials safely and efficiently Fabricate components by measuring, cutting, machining, and welding materials according to detailed specifications Handle materials with care in a warehouse setting, ensuring proper storage and movement of raw materials and finished products Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure accuracy and adherence to safety standards Collaborate with team members on fabrication and assembly tasks to meet production deadlines Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety protocols at all times

Job Duties/Requirements:

Carefully grab, pick, and sort glass window pieces of various sizes, typically weighing between 5-10 pounds, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail to prevent damage or defects Inspect glass pieces for quality, ensuring they meet company standards and are free from chips, cracks, or imperfections Safely place and organize glass onto carts for transport within the facility Distribute materials efficiently to the next department to support continuous production flow Operate and monitor machinery used in glass production, following all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures Assist in assembly processes related to glass products, ensuring proper alignment and handling Perform routine quality control checks throughout the production process to maintain product consistency and accuracy Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company and OSHA safety standards Previous manufacturing experience with glass is a plus but not required.
