Founded in 1990, Garg employs over 100 professionals and delivers high-profile federal and state transportation projects across Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support complex electrical engineering design efforts and support large-scale transportation and infrastructure programs. Position Overview The Electrical Engineer will support electrical engineering design, quality control, and project execution for multi-million-dollar transportation and infrastructure projects, with a focus on facility electrical systems, lighting design, and facility power. This role includes full project lifecycle involvement
- from concept design through construction support
- and offers strong growth and leadership opportunities.
Key Responsibilities Perform facility power, lighting, and electrical system design Prepare electrical scopes of workcost proposals Develop drawings, schematics, layoutsspecifications Perform system calculations, modelinganalysis Support construction including review of submittalsRFIs Coordinate with regulatory agencies Mentor junior engineers and present technical solutions to clientsleadership Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T.) certification 5+ years of electrical design experience (5-8 years ideal) Strong experience in: Power distribution systems Substationsswitchgear Facility power systems Grounding, lightinglow-voltage systems Strong knowledge of
NEC, NESC, NFPA, IEEEUL
codes Software experience:
