Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Roadway Engineer II to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
Analyze and prepare roadway and Temporary Traffic Control Plans (TTCP) designs, calculations and drawings for Expressway/Limited-Access facilities and Arterial/Local roads using DOT and/or local jurisdiction criteria, with guidance provided on complex matters Develop 3D Models of roadways, using Corridor Modeling in GEOPAK and/or Open Roads Approach tasks with a project mindset, to include coordination with other disciplines throughout the duration of the project; propose innovative solutions to design problems with an understanding of project scope and goals Assign, track, and review tasks of technicians, designers, and engineers, ensuring adherence to project schedules; QC final work product Prepare engineering reports and contract documents for review; perform independent peer reviews on teamwork products Review contract plans and calculations from other engineering teams and outside entities to verify completion and compliance with governing transportation design codes and contract plans and specifications Potential to serve as the Engineer-of-Record for mid-size and miscellaneous transportation designs Effectively present proposed team design solutions as part of internal project meetings; attend and contribute to presentations with external parties Adhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely personal resume updates, providing technical proposal support, and participating in marketing campaigns Ensure timely completion of time sheets, expense reports, and labor hours management Take ownership of personal and team member career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop and teach new skills, and setting and pursuing goals Contribute to the development of team members through mentorship and modeling positive behaviors

Salary Range:
