Senior Traffic Engineer | Gainesville, FL Kisinger Campo & Associates, Corp. (KCA) is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer to join our Gainesville office. As a Traffic Engineer / Senior Engineer, you will support traffic plans production, operations modeling, analysis, and design while working closely with FDOT and local municipalities. This position offers significant responsibility in project delivery while supporting continued professional growth through collaboration with the Department Manager and other experienced engineers.
Responsibilities:
Lead/Prepare traffic construction plans including: Highway signing and pavement markings Roadway lighting Traffic signalization Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Manage design efforts for roadway lighting, signalization, and ITS systems Support project tasks under the direct supervision of the Department Manager Contribute to technical deliverables related to traffic operations and infrastructure improvements
Qualifications:
PE License required 4-20 years of design experience in Traffic Design Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with focus in Transportation Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, strong work ethic, and able to function effectively as a team member Ability to produce CADD engineering drawings Knowledge of one or more of the following software packages is preferred: AutoCAD, MicroStation, Highway Capacity Software HCS, Synchro, and CORSIM About KCA KCA is a minority-owned multidisciplinary engineering firm that has served the transportation industry for 50 years.
