Duties Develop comprehensive roadway designs utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other CAD software to produce accurate plans, profiles, and cross-sections. Manage project schedules from conception through completion, ensuring timely delivery while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. Oversee construction management activities including site inspections, quality control, and safety compliance to guarantee project standards are met. Utilize GIS platforms such as ArcGIS and System design tools to analyze spatial data, support transportation planning efforts, and optimize roadway layouts. Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and project documentation through effective technical writing practices. Collaborate with project managers on project engineering tasks including cost estimation, resource allocation, and progress tracking. Engage in transportation planning initiatives by analyzing traffic patterns, conducting system design reviews, and supporting sustainable infrastructure development. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; PE (Professional Engineer) license preferred. Proven experience with project scheduling software and construction management processes in roadway or civil infrastructure projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and GIS platforms such as ArcGIS for design and spatial analysis. Strong understanding of transportation planning principles and civil engineering best practices. Skilled in technical writing for reports, specifications, and project documentation. Familiarity with construction site activities including inspections, safety protocols, and quality assurance procedures.
