Job Description:
- Parsons is now hiring a Roadway Engineer I to join our
- Savannah, Georgia
- office to support major regional transportation infrastructure projects!
What You'll Be Doing:
- + Collaborate often with senior engineers, perform various roadway engineering and design assignments requiring the application of engineering techniques, procedures and design criteria for projects ranging in size and complexity + Utilize drafting and modeling software, tools, and programs, to develop conceptual and detailed designs + Perform design calculations including material quantity takeoffs and construction cost estimates + Assist in the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans and specifications for assigned projects + Assist in the preparation of detailed requisitions for material purchase, services, and subcontracts + Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate •
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) + 3 years or more of related work experience with road and highway projects + Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate is preferred + Proficiency in utilizing AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation Geopak and/or OpenRoads, is required + The ability to communicate and effectively participate as part of an engineering team

Salary Range:
