• Parsons is now hiring a Senior Roadway Engineer to join our
• Savannah, Georgia
• office to support major regional transportation infrastructure projects!

• What You'll Be Doing:

• + Lead the design and development of roadway projects, including concept, preliminary and final design, alignment, grading, and pavement design.

+ Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications. + Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. + Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met. + Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and address any issues that arise. + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff. + Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including AASHTO, FHWA, and state DOT requirements. + Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and technical reports. + Participate in client meetings, presentations, and project reviews.

• What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field + Professional Engineer (PE) license is required + 8+ years of experience in roadway design engineering + Solid roadway geometric design background with proficiency in roadway design software (e.

g., MicroStation, InRoads, Open Roads). + Strong knowledge of AASHTO, FHWA, and state DOT design standards and guidelines. + Intermediate skills with Excel (macros, equations) + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Salary Range:
