The ideal candidate would have 5-10 years of related experience, a sharp technical background, and strong passion for the profession. The position will offer the candidate an opportunity to play a key role in analyzing and designing exciting projects for our DOT and municipal clients across our client footprint. Applicants must have excellent communication skills with a commitment to becoming a key member of this highly productive design team. This position will be supervised by a Senior Project Manager and offers outstanding growth opportunity and career advancement to the right individual. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following: Performing traffic and safety studies Performing traffic simulation and level of service analysis Developing access management plans and lane configurations for new or modified alignments Developing traffic signal timing plans Preparing summary documentation and reports Coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and communicating concepts to clients Additional duties include: Assisting with project management to identify project scopes, fees, and monitoring project progress. Maintaining a client-focused, service attitude by tracking budgets, and keeping projects on schedule. Preparing project proposals and giving interviews for project pursuits Performing direct client marketing and developing relationships with existing clients within our service area Mentoring less experienced staff
