This position is open to anyone who meets the minimum qualifications listed below. The resulting list of eligible candidates will be used to fill this vacancy and may be used to fill future vacancies in this classification.Nature of Work :
This classification includes entry- to mid-level technical engineering work in which employees perform a variety of engineering support tasks. Individuals in this role receive ongoing training and work under the direct supervision of a higher-level technician. Employees in this classification are not responsible for supervising others. QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education :
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.Experience :
One (1) year of experience in technical engineering related work in the areas of design, traffic, construction, materials testing, engineering surveys, maintenance, or planning.Notes:
1. Applicants may substitute education in a civil engineering curriculum at an accredited college or university at the rate of 30 semester credit hours for each year of the required experience. 2. Applicants who possess an associate's degree in engineering, construction management or surveying or surveying technology from an accredited community college, college or university are considered to have met two years of the required experience. Licenses & Certifications Candidate must possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the state of Maryland. The selected candidate must obtain/possess the following certifications within the first six (6) months of the assignment: Quality Assurance/Quality Control Certifications (Soils, Concrete, and Hot Mix Asphalt)Similar remote jobs
