Responsibilities The individual will work as part of a team in all facets of transportation engineering including design of horizontal and vertical alignments, drainage systems, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, development of maintenance and protection of traffic schemes, and preparation of contract plans for a variety of project types and clients. Required Skills & Required Experience Currently pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering (Emphasis in Transportation) is required Previous Transportation focused internship experience preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Expereince using CADD (MicroStation or AutoCAD) Proficiency in MS Office software Desire to work in a team environment Don't meet every single requirement? Salary Range $18.75/hour - $29.75/hour. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly. Program Information Summer Intern Program During the summer intern program, interns gain hands-on project experience, develop technical skills, and put their classroom knowledge into action. Our interns are assigned meaningful work and are given the opportunity to work on projects similar to what they would be engaging with as a full-time employee. Our interns get the opportunity to participate in a series of workshops and events, including: Networking opportunities to meet other interns, staff, and senior leaders across the business. Summer-long group project where interns work alongside firm leaders to address issues that will impact our future strategy.
