Overview Graduate Engineer - Transportation Location(s): Duluth, MN Are you ready to help shape the roads, intersections, and transportation systems that connect communities? We're looking for a Graduate Engineer - Transportation to join our growing team of transportation professionals and contribute to roadway and intersection improvement projects that make a lasting impact. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced engineers on projects from planning and design through construction. You'll gain hands-on experience using industry-leading design and modeling tools while helping deliver innovative transportation solutions that improve mobility, safety, and quality of life for the public. Whether you're designing roadway improvements in AutoCAD Civil 3D, analyzing intersection performance, or presenting project concepts to community stakeholders, you'll play an important role in bringing transportation projects to life. Assist with the design and modeling of transportation infrastructure projects from concept through final design. Perform traffic operations and capacity analyses for intersections and roadway corridors. Analyze traffic data, evaluate transportation performance, and prepare clear recommendations for project teams and clients. Prepare technical reports, design documentation, exhibits, and engineering calculations. Create compelling graphics, visualizations, and presentation materials to communicate project concepts. Support and participate in public involvement meetings , open houses, and stakeholder engagement efforts. Present transportation project information to community members and help facilitate meaningful public input. Conduct field observations, gather project data, and assist during construction and implementation phases. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including transportation planners, engineers, surveyors, and environmental specialists. Qualifications What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited program. Strong interest in transportation engineering, roadway design, and traffic analysis. Experience with or coursework in AutoCAD Civil 3D , traffic engineering, transportation planning, or roadway design. Familiarity with traffic modeling and analysis software is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills. Excellent verbal communication and presentation abilities. Ability to work effectively both independently and within collaborative project teams. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain certification is preferred. Compensation Range:

$62,600-$80,000 (commensurate with experience) Flex Time ( Remove for Hourly ) : Work 42 hours this week? Have 2 hours added to your Flex Time balance to use as time off in the future
