(KCA) has openings for full-time, Entry- Level Hydraulics Engineers in Charlotte and Raleigh. In this position, you will work under the direct supervision of the Department Manager. The position requires a solid understanding of transportation design projects, a strong foundation of hydrologic and hydraulics engineering principles, and solid communication skills. Responsibilities include preparing technical studies, reports, construction estimates and assisting with proposals & presentations for storm drain, pond, and floodplain design for transportation projects. Qualifications 0 to 5 years of experience EI preferred Bachelor's degree in civil engineering Good verbal and written communication skills Eagerness to learn from and collaborate with teammates Knowledge of NCDOT design standards and planning preparation procedures is a plus OpenRoads Designer (ORD) or 3D Modeling experience is a plus About KCA Established in 1976, KCA is a privately-owned multidisciplinary engineering firm that has served the transportation industry for more than 49 years.
