Responsibilities:
Perform all aspects of ITS and Systems Engineering for Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS), incident management systems, traffic management systems, traffic information systems, and other ITS components, including but not limited to, dynamic / variable message signs, CCTV surveillance systems, traffic detection, and connected vehicles.

Perform all aspects of communications design including fiber optic, telco, and wireless.

Understanding of network security / design and controls systems designComplete site visits, evaluate and analyze existing systemsDevelop SERF and ConOps reports and plans based on project analyses and assessmentsAttend project meetings/ perform project coordination
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Civil, Electrical, Computer Engineering / Science or similarPrevious
NJDOT ITS
design experience preferredA Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred5 plus years of ITS design and Systems Engineering experienceExperience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is a plusExcellent communication and writing skills
