CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Highway Engineer to join our Highway & Rail Team as a technical leader and mentor in Keene, NH. In this key role, you will serve as a technical leader and mentor—driving quality across highway initiatives, supporting collaborative project teams, and helping deliver practical, sustainable solutions. - Lead the technical execution of complex engineering designs, technical reports, and specifications for various highway projects including roadway modeling, roundabouts, and signal design
- Provide expert consultation and resolve highly complex technical issues across multidiscipline transportation projects
- Lead advanced technical projects, collaborating with other engineering departments and project management staff to deliver sustainable solutions
- Develop and manage discipline work plans aligned with project milestones, ensuring projects are completed within budget and scheduling restraints
- Guide and mentor junior engineering staff, including providing technical reviews and support
- Deliver technical development of proposals and external presentations to clients, public, and regulatory agencies
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required
- Minimum of 10 years progressive engineering experience required; roadway or hydraulic design experience preferred
- NHDOT experience preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Expert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply best practices
- Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (MicroStation, OpenRoads, etc.)
- Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

Salary Range:
$120,000 - $135,000 Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards. Additional Information Help for Additional Information.What You Bring:

- Minimum of 10 years progressive engineering experience required; roadway or hydraulic design experience preferred
