The Senior Highway Engineer will be responsible for: Leading the design and delivery of highway and roadway projects for state and local transportation clients. Serving as a technical lead throughout project planning, design, and delivery phases. Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams across multiple offices to successfully execute projects. Developing and reviewing roadway design plans, specifications, engineering reports, and construction documents. Maintaining strong relationships with transportation agencies and project stakeholders. Mentoring junior engineers and supporting the technical development of team members. Assisting with project pursuits, proposals, and strategic growth initiatives within the transportation market. The Senior Highway Engineer should have the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. 7+ years of highway, roadway, or transportation engineering experience. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. Experience delivering projects for DOT or public-sector transportation clients. Strong understanding of roadway design principles and industry-standard design software. Demonstrated ability to lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Strong communication and client-facing skills.
