Job Description

Role Overview:
This leadership position focuses on managing and delivering transportation engineering projects, particularly PS&E (Plans, Specifications & Estimates) for elements such as traffic signals, roadway lighting, signing and striping, temporary traffic control, ITS, and fiber optic communications. The role combines technical expertise with business development responsibilities and offers opportunities to shape project strategy and mentor future leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong client relationships and strategic partnerships with other consulting firms.

Lead pursuit efforts and manage projects through all phases: pre-positioning, proposal development, negotiations, planning, technical delivery, and financial oversight.

Ensure client satisfaction through quality control and client experience initiatives.

Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior staff and contribute to team growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation, or related discipline.10+ years of experience in transportation engineering consulting.

Proven ability to secure and manage diverse transportation projects.

Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Strong knowledge of industry practices, regulations, and local client base preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
