Type:

full-time Engineer-in-Training (EIT) As an Engineer-in-Training at Berger Munson Engineers, LLC (BME), this position supports the design and delivery of civil engineering projects while developing technical expertise and increasing responsibility under the guidance of senior engineering staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform technical analysis, calculations, and design tasks across a variety of civil engineering projects. Apply BME standards, methods, and practices to project work and deliverables. Develop preliminary design concepts and assist with comparative cost analyses and engineering evaluations. Exercise independent judgment and decision-making on assigned technical tasks. Progressively take on greater responsibility for coordinating and directing technical and support staff. Work closely with project managers, project engineers, and team leaders to support project schedules, deliverables, and client needs. Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff in areas of established knowledge and experience. Participate in internal QA/QC reviews for work within areas of technical expertise. Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency, processes, and technical workflows. Maintain accurate timesheets and submit project-related expense reports. Receive general supervision from senior staff while developing the skills necessary for increased project and technical responsibility.
