Employment Opportunity

The City of Orem Community Development Services is currently hiring for an Engineering Intern. This is a non-benefited position responsible for assisting full time engineering personnel in performing specific tasks related to data collection, survey, construction inspection, engineering design, and other tasks associated with engineering projects. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering.
• Requires a valid driver's license and must have a good driving record.
• Requires knowledge of CAD, GIS, and spreadsheets.
• Must be able to work outdoors year round, and to communicate verbally and in writing with supervisors and other employees.
• The successful candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background investigation.
  Pay and Benefits
  Starts at $14.00 per hour depending on experience, qualifications, and responsibilities.
  Schedule
  Part Time
• Up to 28 hours per week.
