Key Responsibilities As a Rotational Engineer, you will: Participate in a variety of activities throughout the engineering project lifecycle, including feasibility studies, materials research, design and concept development, scoping, environmental assessments, safety planning, specifications, scheduling, and revisions. Assist in the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of transportation facilities. Monitor and evaluate contract and contractor performance to ensure compliance with specifications; recommend corrective actions for deficiencies. Collect and review research materials, ensuring the accuracy, validity, and appropriateness of all data sources. Prepare engineering and design documents using computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment. Qualifications This position will be filled as either an Engineer I or Engineer II based on the criteria listed below. The qualifications for the Engineer I level are: A bachelor's degree, or higher, in a Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline. Proof of passing the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE). The qualifications for the Engineer II level are: A bachelor's degree, or higher, in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Proof of passing the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE). At least two years of post-graduate engineering experience.
