Job Description AECOM is seeking to hire a MOT Discipline Lead (Design Build) to support our exciting projects in the Pacific Northwest. Serves as lead engineer on large-complex projects. Leads and mentors a team. Approves and signs off on work. Provides technical expertise for studies and design efforts. Presents complex technical solutions to clients. Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others. Participates and leads task force meetings for the MOT discipline. Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large projects.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS + 8
years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Engineer license and ability to obtain Washington PE within six months if not currently registered in WA. Expertise in developing design packages for highway and/or roadway improvement projects in Washington State. Experience as Maintenance of Traffic Discipline Lead, with WSDOT, on Design Build projects. Minimum of 12 years of technical experience which reflect a progressively increasing level of leadership and responsibility. Experience managing a large team in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in the use of and ability to lead others in the use of Microstation and InRoads. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Local candidates to Seattle highly preferred. In-office/project office co-location required. Additional Information Sponsorship is not offered for this position now or in the future. Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $130000 to $230000. About
