Bachelor's degree in Engineering At least 3 years' experience as a Quality Engineer in a Manufacturing environment Experience with forging and CNC machining operations, GD&T proficiency, and programming in Polyworks Experience with Non-Destructive Testing, Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (Gage R&R) study, Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Strong working knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 standards and Statistical process Controls Key Duties Create Control Plans and supporting PFMEA's and or all product lines. Create and modify Inspection instructions Liaison with Government Quality Assurance representative. Ensure products conform to Customer and Government standards and specifications. Lead Root Cause Corrective Actions for non-conforming parts and lead Materials Review Board teams. Spearhead Continuous Improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives: Six Sigma, 5S, Kanban, Kaizen, 5 Whys, Fishbone (Ishikawa) Diagram, Pareto Charts. Perform RFQ and Contract review to ensure customer Quality requirements are documented and communicated to Manufacturing
