Full-Time Job Summary Our client is seeking a Process Engineer II to support the development, standardization, quality, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and products. This role is ideal for an engineering professional with approximately 4-7 years of manufacturing or process engineering experience who enjoys solving production challenges, improving efficiency, and working directly with cross-functional teams. The Process Engineer II will play a key role in process improvement, new product introduction, troubleshooting, quality, and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives while working closely with operations, quality, maintenance, engineering, and other teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to make a direct impact in a manufacturing environment while continuing to grow their technical and leadership capabilities. Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program

4-7 years of engineering experience, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment

Experience with process engineering and continuous improvement

Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification

Experience with process troubleshooting, investigation, and problem solving

Knowledge of PFMEA, statistical process controls, and product quality

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence process improvements

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives from identification through implementation

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification

Experience with new product introduction, process validation, and production scale-up

Experience developing process flow diagrams, SOPs, and technical documentation

Experience with manufacturing equipment, tooling, and process optimization

Experience providing technical guidance or training to engineers, production employees, or other team members

Experience integrating digital tools or technology into manufacturing and engineering processes

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Design, implement, standardize, and continuously improve manufacturing and production processes to improve efficiency, quality, and output

Diagnose and resolve process-related issues to minimize downtime and maintain production performance

Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to drive efficiency and cost reduction

Develop and maintain process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures, technical reports, and other process documentation

Partner with design, quality, maintenance, operations, IT, and engineering teams to ensure effective process integration

Support new product introduction, process scale-up, and validation activities

Ensure machinery, tooling, and production processes operate within established parameters

Provide technical guidance and training on process changes, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives

Maintain compliance with applicable safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements

Physical and Environment Requirements Physical expectations and working conditions associated with the job may include standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods. The role is approximately 25% moving, 25% standing, and 50% sitting. The position operates across both office and plant/warehouse environments and may involve exposure to extreme heat or cold. Employees may be required to use a computer and keyboard and wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and safety shoes. Domestic travel may be required for less than 20% of the time.
