Job Description

Support the risk and failure analysis (PFMEA) reviews and update/maintain the Control Plan for the assigned work flows Primary contact source with customer/supplier representatives, maintain positive communication and relationship, support and attend meetings, reviews and audits Performs root cause analysis of technical problems Ensures that the quality system is maintained in accordance with the Business Operating System (Y IO S) standards. Facilitate problem solving teams and respond to customer discrepancy notices. Verify corrective actions and prepare problem solving customer correspondence related to quality concerns or issues Participate in internal and external quality audits, and report to management on quality issues, trends and losses Participate in workgroups (e.g., FMEA, PSMC, etc.) Establish process controls, assist in training of new projects and buy-off on new/modified equipment and processes Support quality/dimensional control systems (i.e., X&R charts, gage studies, Six Sigma, dimensional capability studies) Strong working knowledge of APQP tools (e.g., Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, MSA, SPC, etc.)
Bachelor's Level Degree Area of Study:
Quality, Industrial of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience in Quality or Engineering related function. 1 -3 Years of Experience working in the field of Quality, Engineering CI or similar (recent college graduate is considered acceptable). Less Than 1 Years of Experience within the automotive industry. Possesses strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work in a team environment, establishing partnerships both internally and externally Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills Possess knowledge on the fundamentals of PPAP and APQP processes Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required
