Job Description:
Quality Control Engineer positions offered by HL Mando America Corporation (Opelika, Alabama). Serve as the primary liaison for resolving quality concerns with OEM clients, including Hyundai and Kia. Lead 4M change control approval processes involving Man, Machine, Material, and Method changes. Evaluate and qualify new suppliers through technical review and readiness assessments. Implement internal assessment frameworks to align supplier capabilities with program launch timelines. Audit complex manufacturing systems using quality assurance and process capability tools. Guide supplier development initiatives based on internal quality systems and client specific requirements. Conduct detailed process audits to ensure compliance with internal procedures and customer standards. Coordinate engineering change order approvals through cross-functional change management. Develop supplier improvement plans based on analysis of manufacturing flow, defect prevention, and capability data.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field and 5 years of experience working in a quality engineering or supplier quality role.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

Applying 4M change control procedures and leading approval processes;Working with supplier evaluation and audit methodologiesUsing manufacturing quality assurance systems and performing process capability analysisPerforming production change management and cross-functional coordinationConducting process audits based on internal and OEM standardsAnalyzing manufacturing flow and developing supplier improvement plansInterpreting engineering documents and quality system frameworks.

Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
