Job Description
## Standard Job Description What You Will Be Doing As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for applying quality principles throughout the product lifecycle, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and driving continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Perform technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, and drawings.
- Lead failure investigations, material review board decisions, and corrective‑preventive actions.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve internal and supplier performance.
- Design and analyze inspection and testing processes and equipment.
- Conduct statistical analysis to assess product and material compliance.
- Bachelors degree or higher in STEM related field
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- Experience in engineering or quality assurance, developing inspection methods, work instructions, and procedures for manufactured products
- Knowledge of Quality systems, demonstrated use of problem solving, troubleshooting, and RCCA ## Desired Skills
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)
- Working knowledge of AS9100 and
ISO 9001
Quality Management Systems- Experience supporting government customers or contracts
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel for data analysis, PowerPoint for technical presentations)
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:
