Job Description
Join a growing manufacturing team where you'll play a key role in driving quality, solving complex problems, and ensuring customer satisfaction from production launch through ongoing operations.
Build strong customer relationships through regular communication and on-site visits, proactively identifying and resolving potential quality concerns.
Support new product launches, production validation activities, and ongoing manufacturing operations to ensure successful product performance.
Lead customer complaint investigations and corrective action efforts using Root Cause Analysis, 8D, 5-Why, and other structured problem-solving methodologies.
Coordinate containment activities, material dispositions, and return authorizations for suspect or nonconforming product.
Act as the first point of contact for customer quality concerns, driving timely resolution and effective communication.
Prepare, submit, and maintain PPAP documentation and other quality-related customer requirements.
Manage customer deviations, process change requests, and tooling approvals as required.
Monitor customer scorecards, feedback, and performance metrics while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Need for this PositionExperience in a Quality Engineer role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong working knowledge of AIAG Core Tools, including PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, PPAP, and SPC.Hands-on experience with Root Cause Analysis, 8D, 5-Why, and other structured problem-solving techniques.
Experience supporting customer-facing quality issues and corrective actions.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or
Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships internally and with customers.
Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for solving complex quality challenges.
