Position Summary The QMS Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the Quality Management System and serving as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues. This position supports compliance with
AS9100, ISO
standards, customer requirements, and internal procedures. The role drives corrective actions, customer communication, audit readiness, and continuous improvement activities across the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management System Maintain and control the QMS documentation system, procedures, forms, and records. Ensure compliance with
AS9100, ISO
9001, customer requirements, and internal standards. Coordinate internal audits and support external audits from customers and certification bodies. Track audit findings and corrective actions to closure. Support management review meetings and prepare quality metrics reports. Maintain calibration, training, and quality records as required. Assist departments with procedure creation, revisions, and implementation. Monitor compliance to company processes and quality standards on production floor. Customer Quality Support Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns, complaints, and RMAs. Coordinate containment actions and investigation activities related to customer escapes. work closely with Manufacturing Engineering team and lead root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, or similar problem-solving methods. Prepare and submit corrective action reports to customers within required timelines. Coordinate communication between customers, operations, engineering, and suppliers regarding quality issues. Track customer complaints, response times, and corrective action effectiveness. Support customer visits, audits, and quality reviews. Maintain customer quality scorecards and support improvement activities. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve quality systems and manufacturing processes. Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with KPI tracking related to scrap, rework, customer complaints, and on-time corrective actions. Promote quality awareness throughout the organization . Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Quality, Manufacturing, or Engineering field preferred. Minimum 3 years experience in quality systems or manufacturing quality environment. Experience with AS9100 and
ISO 9001
requirements preferred. Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing and connector assembly processes preferred. Experience handling customer corrective actions and audits. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Strong communication and report-writing skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with ERP and document control systems preferred . Pay:
