Roles and Responsibilities Support manufacturing-floor quality across electrode processing, cylindrical-cell assembly, formation, testing, labeling, packaging, and related laboratory operations. Perform or support risk-based incoming and in-process inspection using approved drawings, specifications, sampling plans, control plans, and calibrated equipment. Maintain accurate

inspection, material-status, lot/serial traceability, defect, measurement, and acceptance records. Initiate nonconformance records and support containment, MRB, NCR, deviation, CAPA, 8D, root-cause analysis, effectiveness checks, and escalation. Develop and analyze SPC charts, sampling results, defect trends, yield, Cp/Cpk, Pp/Ppk, and other process-capability and quality metrics. Support measurement-system analysis, gauge R&R, method correlation, calibration recall, and out-of-calibration impact assessments. Assist with supplier qualification, audits, scorecards, quality agreements, change notices, SCARs, and supplier corrective-action follow-up. Support first-article, equipment, process, and product qualification; PFMEA/control-plan updates; audits; and approved manufacturing changes. Provide traceability, inspection, laboratory, and investigation support to Product Compliance while preserving the approved customer-quality responsibility boundary. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in quality, mechanical, chemical, materials, manufacturing, industrial, or electrical engineering, chemistry, or a related technical field. Zero to two years of quality, engineering, manufacturing, laboratory, inspection, or related experience; internships, co-op assignments, academic research, and capstone projects may satisfy the experience expectation. Foundational knowledge of incoming and in-process inspection, supplier quality, NCR/CAPA/8D, sampling, SPC, process capability, MSA, gauge R&R, PFMEA, and control plans. Ability to read drawings, specifications, work instructions, inspection plans, certificates, and technical records and to analyze data using Microsoft Excel or comparable tools. Experience with
PLEX MES, ISO
9001, APQP/PPAP, Minitab, JMP, or comparable quality and statistical tools is preferred.
