This role helps ensure product quality, process stability, and compliance with customer, regulatory, and company requirements by collecting and analyzing process data, maintaining control plans and charts, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in manufacturing quality systems, statistical analysis, and data-driven problem-solving. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Data Collection & Analysis Collect process and quality data from production equipment, inspection systems, and testing devices. Analyze production data using SPC methodologies and statistical tools, including: Control Charts Histograms Process Capability Studies (Cp/Cpk) Pareto Analysis Trend Analysis Identify process variation, trends, and out-of-control conditions. Interpret data and communicate findings to production and quality teams. SPC Monitoring Develop, maintain, and monitor SPC control charts for critical process characteristics. Ensure real-time monitoring and reporting of process performance. Investigate abnormal trends and initiate escalation when required. Verify compliance with established control plans and quality standards. Process Improvement Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities related to quality concerns, nonconformances, and process deviations. Partner with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing variation, scrap, and defects. Assist with validation and verification of process improvements. Documentation & Reporting Maintain SPC records, databases, and quality documentation. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality and process performance reports. Ensure accurate recordkeeping in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements. Support document control activities related to SPC programs and quality systems. Systems & Measurement Support Monitor SPC software systems to ensure proper functionality and data integrity. Assist with calibration verification and maintenance of measurement equipment. Support Measurement System Analysis (MSA) activities, including Gage R&R studies. Verify accuracy and reliability of data collection processes. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Production Supervisors, Quality Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and Operators. Provide SPC training and guidance to production personnel. Promote awareness of quality standards and statistical process control principles across the organization. Qualifications Education Associate degree in Quality, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Statistics, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, quality, or SPC-related environment preferred. Experience in automotive, metal stamping, machining, or industrial manufacturing is a plus. Familiarity with
