E-Beam Reliability Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

• Job Description:

• + We are seeking a highly motivated Reliability Engineer with strong experience in semiconductor capital equipment and a focus on electron beam (E-Beam) systems. + This role involves driving product reliability, failure analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives for advanced inspection platforms.

• Responsibilities:

• + Lead reliability engineering activities for complex semiconductor equipment, particularly E-Beam systems + Analyze field and factory data to identify failure trends, root causes, and reliability risks + Develop and execute reliability test plans, including HALT/HASS and lifecycle validation + Perform failure analysis (FA) using structured methodologies (FMEA, RCA, Weibull analysis) + Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and service teams to resolve reliability issues + Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve system uptime and performance + Utilize reliability modeling tools to predict product performance and optimize design robustness •

Experience:

• + Proven experience working with semiconductor equipment (inspection, metrology, or similar systems preferred) + Strong background in reliability engineering principles and failure analysis + Hands-on experience with ReliaSoft (Weibull++, XFMEA, or similar tools) + Experience with E-Beam inspection or defect review systems + Familiarity with vacuum systems, electron optics, or high-precision instrumentation is a plus + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills + Preferred Skills + Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes (lithography, etch, deposition, etc.

) + Ability to work with large datasets and statistical reliability models
