What to Expect Consider before submitting an application: This position is expected to start August or September 2026 and continue throughfallterm (endingapproximately December 2026or later, if available). We ask for a minimum of12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site, for most internships.
Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program.

Learn to design, build, and deploy robust testing infrastructures for ournext-generationmechanical, thermals, electrical and battery systems within Tesla's entire Energy products line-up
Work closely with internal and external teams (design, firmware, manufacturing,service, etc.) to execute engineering validation and long-term reliability testingprograms at critical component and system-levels. Capture, analyze and present data in multi-disciplinary forums to drive improvements throughout the product development lifecycle What You'll Bring
Pursuing a degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience ≈plicationoffundamentalmechanical/electricalengineering principles
Experiencein coding/scripting for automation and data acquisition/processing(especially Python)
Hands-onproject-based building and debuggingwith standard lab tools (power tools, multi-meter,oscilloscopeetc.)

Expected Compensation
$20.00 - $50.00/hour + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
