Identify the content and applicability of ASQ and ISO quality standards. Identify, define, and classify quality characteristics, including seriousness classification of defects. Identify and apply the concepts and techniques of various types of quality audits such as product, process, system, registration, certification, management, and compliance. Perform internal audit, process audit and production audits as per pre-defined schedule. Participate in internal and external quality audits. Identify sources of design input such as customer needs, regulatory requirements, etc. Identify and apply common elements of the contract review process. Review of all customer contracts with respect to flow-down of customer requirements. Select, construct, apply, and interpret flowcharts, Pareto charts, and cause and effect diagrams. Select, apply, and interpret control charts, check sheets, scatter diagrams, and histograms. Support first run hardware actions including inspection plans and conformity Establish and maintain Net Inspect, SPC and Control Plans. Seek and document lean process improvement ideas for the department. Basic Inspection knowledge for investigation purposes. Collects data for use in posting production metrics and supplier performance. Monitor Supplier related defects and issue root cause and corrective actions to improve supplier performance. Qualification Requirements Education/Experience Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field (Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial preferred) ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification is highly desirable Knowledge of aerospace standards such as
