Job Description

Quality Engineering Supervisor As our Quality Engineering Supervisor, under limited supervision, you will lead and support quality activities across Quality Engineering for system components including printed circuit boards (PCBs), electrical cables, wiring, assemblies, and system installations. You will supervise and lead a Quality Engineering team and ensure compliance with engineering specifications, customer requirements, and quality standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across production and inspection operations. You will serve as a technical quality resource by Providing direction and mentorship while supporting root cause and corrective action activities, to ensure consistent delivery of conforming products within an AS9100-regulated environment.

108,900.00 - 145,200.00 per year plus potential bonus Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in CA. Your Challenge:
Lead and support Quality Engineering activities Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and customer requirements Perform and oversee quality verification activities and document results accurately Support and guide quality and production teams on technical quality matters Review and support First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) in accordance with AS9102 Drive non-conformance management, CAPA/RCCA activities, and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with
AS9100/ISO
quality systems and inspection procedures Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations to resolve quality concerns Ensure calibration, maintenance, and effective use of inspection equipment Monitor quality trends and support corrective and preventive actions Supervise the QE team with day-to-day direction, escalation to site leadership to include team professional development plans
What You Bring:
Associate's degree, technical diploma, or bachelor's degree in engineering, Electronics, Manufacturing, Quality, or related technical field preferred Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in Quality, Quality Engineering, or Manufacturing Quality within Aerospace, Defense, Electronics Manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries Minimum 3+ years of experience leading quality activities and teams, to include mentoring teams, or serving as a technical quality resource Must have at least 3 years of personnel supervision duties with direct reports to include but not limited to: Hiring, performance reviews and professional development planning Experience with
PCB/PCBA
inspection, cable & harness assemblies, electronic assemblies, and interconnect systems Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements Experience with dimensional inspection and precision measurement tools Experience working within
AS9100 / ISO9001
Quality Management Systems Preferred Qualifications:
Current or recent certifications in:
IPC-A-610 J-STD-001 IPC/WHMA-A-620 IPC-A-600 AS9102
Training/Certification ESD Training and Awareness Experience with SAP (S/4HANA or ECC) and Microsoft Office applications Experience leading root cause investigations and corrective actions (CAPA/RCCA) Technical education or Quality-related certifications preferred Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
