SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION

The Process Engineer is responsible for providing technical engineering support for flex and rigid flex process which includes the improvement in capabilities, quality and cycle time reduction

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Flex Process Engineer Perform routine process audits to confirm the process is in spec and associates are following. Perform root cause analysis of quality issues and put preventive actions in place. record all of the issues/ CA /PA and present to management in meeting. Work with quality department to resolve customer service tickets for Flex/rigid flex product post shipment. Complete 8D or CCARs. Work with flex manager to complete internal ICARs Evaluate / implement new process /equipment for capability and cycle time improvements. Continually monitor processes for quality, effectiveness and efficiency. Initiate cost reduction without sacrificing quality. Optimize process flow. Train associates on the new process or process changes as needed Revise /Update SOPs as needed. work with front end teams to automate traveler scrip for flex product and improve. Work with customers as needed to review the designs and propose changes. Be familiar with and enforce all company safety requirements. Inform manager of any potential problems. Ability to wear/work with common forms of rubber and plastic use for PPE. Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds maximum and stand/walk throughout the day. Perform other duties as assigned. Able to work on weekends as needed to support the company projects.

QUALIFICATIONS - KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS- EXPERIENCE

Bachelor degree in electrical engineering, manufacturing system engineering or equivalent experience in flex is required Familiarity with ISO is preferred Ability to train operators and document in a timely manner.

Excel/Word/Outlook. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be flexible to work long hours base on company needs. Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required. Salary Range - $70,000 - $85,000
