Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced equipment engineer to provide essential support for manufacturing operations in a dynamic pilot plant environment. Our team values technical expertise, strong collaboration, and a relentless drive to ensure the reliability and performance of critical bioprocess equipment.

Responsibilities:

Deliver engineering support for bioprocess equipment, focusing on troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and ongoing reliability improvements. Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Facilities, and Process Development teams to address equipment needs, ensure effective communication, and drive system improvements. Leverage data-driven decision-making and digital tools to enhance preventive maintenance, asset management, and overall efficiency. Coordinate small scope engineering projects, support equipment integration, and provide onsite technical guidance for day-to-day operations.

Required:

Educational background: Doctorate degree, or master's degree with 2 years of experience, or bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience, or associate degree with 8 years of experience, or high school diploma/GED with 10 years of experience. Proven ability to independently diagnose equipment issues, conduct root cause analysis, and clearly explain findings and solutions. Experience managing equipment reliability, owning preventive maintenance activities, and utilizing data for decisions (experience with Maximo or similar CMMS required). Demonstrated cross-functional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with Operations, Maintenance, and support teams.
