Volt is immediately hiring Quality Engineer at Colorado Springs, CO Roles & Responsibilities of Quality Engineer at Colorado Springs, CO Modernize and maintain a best-in-class software quality system that meets all customer and regulatory requirements. Interfacing with software engineering to define the software quality strategy for two business areas, including building out a roadmap for the next generation of software quality support. Champion continuous improvement to protect product integrity, meet cost and delivery targets, and ensure mission success. Act as the single point of contact for all site level quality matters, driving alignment across programs and with external customers. This is a 12 Month full time Contract or Contract to hire opportunity.

TS/SCI Clearance What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. BA of Computer Sci Software Engineering or similar Modernize and maintain a best-in-class software quality system that meets all customer and regulatory requirements. Interfacing with software engineering to define the software quality strategy for two business areas, including building out a roadmap for the next generation of software quality support. Champion continuous improvement to protect product integrity, meet cost and delivery targets, and ensure mission success. Act as the single point of contact for all site level quality matters, driving alignment across programs and with external customers.

MS Office Suite Preferred Skills:

Six Sigma/Lean certification. Working knowledge of hardware quality engineering, electronic manufacturing, or embedded systems. Java, C++, YAML, JavaScript, C#, and Docker Compose/Container Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), DevSecOps pipelines, and Agile methodologies. Quality Trend Analysis and previous RCCA experience Jira and Confluence (Atlassian full site) knowledge and experience Experience developing and reporting Quality KPI metrics Proven success deploying and managing quality frameworks Hands-on experience with root cause analysis, configuration management, and audit preparation. Excellent verbal/written communication skills and executive-level presentation ability.

Pay Range:
