You will be part of something bigger. This is where the best are built. We are seeking a Quality Engineer Associate in Littleton, CO to join our team! A entry level Quality Engineer on our team:- Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
- Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
- Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
- Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment & conducts quality assurance tests;
- Performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
- Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university
- Experienced with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to comprehend detailed work instructions, interpret engineering drawings, schematics, sketches, specifications and standards
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays depending on production needs.
- Must be a US Citizen due to program requirements
Desired Skills:
- Able to work effectively with cross functional groups - Engineering, Program Management and Customers with minimal assistance.
- Knowledge of Space vehicles and architecture, programs, and requirements.
- Knowledge and proficiency using VE-CAMS and SAP.
- Broad mechanical and electrical production experience
- Previous industry related certifications to include: Hardware Torquing, Adhesive Bonding, Polymerics
- Quality Assurance inspection background preferred
- Understanding of engineering requirements including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Production, test or machining knowledge.
- Working knowledge of Quality Management System requirements including AS9100, ISO9000 and/or AS9003.
- Experience with Government Customers (e.g. NASA) and requirements flow downs.
- Experience with dimensional inspection

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $54,900 - $96,830. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.Benefits offered:

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
