As a Registered Respiratory Therapist on this travel assignment, you will work alongside seasoned clinicians, explore innovative workplace practices, and broaden your clinical expertise with exposure to a diverse patient population—including pediatric, neonatal, and critical care settings.
Schedule/Hours:
6:00 PM - 6:00 AM shifts Flexible scheduling options are available
Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 months' recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in an acute care hospital Valid CRT or NBRC credentials Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications Strong collaboration and team-oriented mindset
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Meditech EMR Background in PICU and/or NICU settings
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver all aspects of respiratory care, including administering treatments, ventilator setup, assisting with intubations, and arterial blood gas sampling Educate patients, families, and staff on respiratory therapies Manage care across various units: ICU, NICU, Pediatrics, Emergency Department, and Medical-Surgical floors Demonstrate leadership and autonomy, particularly in therapy management and ventilator liberation
