For more information on our company please see our web site at View the SENS Product Catalog Summary The Reliability Engineer II is responsible for developing and maturing SENS's product reliability program through field performance analysis, failure investigation, corrective action leadership, and reliability data management. This role serves as the technical authority for product reliability, transforming field failure data into actionable improvements across engineering, manufacturing, supplier quality, and customer support functions. Responsibilities Develop and maintain reliability metrics including field failure rates, warranty performance, MTTF, MTBF, and reliability growth indicators. Establish systems and processes for collection, analysis, and reporting of product reliability data. Lead the maturation of SENS's field failure analysis and corrective action processes. Develop reliability dashboards and reporting mechanisms to communicate product performance trends. Create and maintain a reliability knowledge database of failure modes and corrective actions. Recommend reliability improvement initiatives based on field and manufacturing performance data. Perform detailed electrical, firmware, battery system, and electromechanical failure analysis at the component, assembly, and system levels utilizing laboratory instrumentation and diagnostic equipment. Support investigation of firmware-related field failures through collaboration with software and firmware engineering teams. Provide training, mentorship, and technical guidance to Supplier Quality, Production, and Engineering personnel. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree (or higher) in engineering or similar technical discipline. 4+ years of experience in an industrial electronics or battery company. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail. Proficient in data extraction, analysis, reporting, and documentation with effective verbal and written communication skills using a variety of platforms.
