Responsible for developing test methodology for SSD systems, reliability and performance, and qualification support for data center SSD. Analysis of both internal and external customer requirements; development of qualification plans to verify the product will meet those requirements; the implementation of new test software releases and methodologies and tools to facilitate the qualification, test execution, as well as small electrical and mechanical failure analysis to identify the root cause of qualification failures and the appropriate corrective action. Develop Product Reliability methodology as Subject Matter Expert for new and existing systems. Review and participate in system product architecture process. Comprehend new system processes/technologies for product reliability issues. Ensure system product architecture and design aligns with required quality and reliability specifications. Analyze system and component reliability data for process feasibility and risk assessments. Comprehend failures and failure rate within the scope of the qualification, integration, and field environments. Coordinate with research and development teams. Employer will accept a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Material Science, Computer Engineering or related field.Position requires:
1) High-speed communication protocols: PCIe, NVMe, I²C, UART, or SPI 2) Use of diagnostic tools such as protocol analyzers, network analyzers, or oscilloscopes 3) Electrical system debugging using industry-standard Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) 4) Data analysis and scripting with Python, MATLAB, JMP, or R 5) Troubleshooting and resolving test challenges in protocol driven environments, ensuring system reliability and performance 6) Automation and reliability engineering, including statistical data processing and application of reliability models to test results The US base salary range that Micron Technology, Inc. estimates it could pay for this full-time position is $122,571.65 - $163,000.00.
