Job Description

Senior Quality Engineer Bethel, CT $50/HR 1 Year Contract The Senior Quality Engineer will support the production of precision pressure sensors used in commercial, military, and space applications. This is a hands-on quality role supporting the full manufacturing lifecycle, including supplier quality, production, testing, final acceptance, corrective actions, customer support, and regulatory compliance.
Senior Quality Engineer Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain quality standards, inspection methods, testing procedures, and quality systems. Partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and production teams to resolve quality issues. Lead root-cause analysis, corrective actions, nonconformance investigations, and continuous-improvement efforts. Support supplier quality activities, including purchase-order review, supplier corrective actions, and nonconforming material resolution. Participate in MRB activities and help determine disposition of discrepant material. Review technical data, drawings, specifications, test results, and quality documentation. Support internal audits, product audits, customer audits, and quality reviews. Serve as a quality contact for customers, suppliers, and government agencies, including the FAA and DCMA. Develop quality-related training materials and provide guidance to inspection and production personnel.
Senior Quality Engineer Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred. At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, engineering, technical, or quality role. Experience with quality systems, inspection/testing, measurement systems, root-cause analysis, corrective action, and nonconforming material. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation. Aerospace, defense, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing experience preferred. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and meet ITAR requirements.
