As a V&V Engineer II , you'll be part of the Verification and Validation (V&V) organization, that performs system V&V on Fire Alarm control panels, peripherals, and devices. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting the product validation activities for NPI and O&M projects, for both Manual and Automation testing. You will support extending the internally developed test framework and utilizing the framework to perform tests. The custom test framework involves robotics, computer vision, distributed computing and sensor simulation. Extending the framework, hardware test fixture will also be required. There will be opportunities to learn new technologies which is encouraged. You Must Have Bachelor's Degree in (Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Science) or 5 years of Fire industry experience 3 years of experience working in Test Engineering or Test Automation 3 years of experience collaborating with development teams to successfully launch products on time We Value Experience with JIRA, Xray, JIRA Align, and Confluence tools Experience working as a multi-discipline engineer (Software, Electrical, Mechanical) Project management skills, Strong communication and Presentation skills Experience with CoPilot and other automation tools Demonstrated hands-on Lab Experience, including building network systems and commissioning Experience working cross-functionally with Product Offering, Engineering, Regulatory, Technical Publications, Test Engineering, and Manufacturing Experience troubleshooting field issues and internal product defects Desire to learn new technologies and processes The annual base salary range for this position is $85,600 - $106,800. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
