Job Description:
Regulatory Capital Reporting - Prepare and submit capital-related regulatory schedules, including FR Y‑9C Schedule HC‑R (Regulatory Capital), Call Report Schedule RC‑R, Basel III capital calculations (CET1, Tier 1, Total Capital), RWA calculations (Credit, Market, and Operational risk) Ensure timely completion and submission of capital schedules with strong data integrity Commitments Data & Reporting Prepare and submit capital-related regulatory schedules, including, Call Report Schedule RC‑L (Off‑Balance‑Sheet Items), FR Y‑9C (HC‑L commitments), Basel III RWA calculations for credit conversion factors (CCFs) Prepare and validate reports covering: Unfunded loan commitments, revolving credit facilities, Letters of credit (standby and commercial), loan participation, loan securitizations, and pipeline commitments Maintain and reconcile commitment balances across lending systems, data warehouses, and the general ledger. Resolution Plan submission Data Validation & Controls Reconcile capital data to the general ledger, risk systems, and source data warehouses. Perform variance analysis, root‑cause reviews, and documentation of assumptions. Maintain strong control frameworks to ensure accuracy and audit readiness. Regulatory Compliance Support internal and external audits, model validation teams, and regulatory examinations. Support process improvement initiatives, including automation of capital workflows. Analyze trends in unused commitments to support credit risk monitoring. Apply appropriate credit conversion factors (20%, 50%, 100%) per Basel III requirements. Assist with stress testing and forecasting of commitment balances. Controls & Data Quality Create and maintain Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) for assigned schedules. Maintain documentation of reporting processes, data sources, and validation procedures. Identify data inconsistencies, perform root‑cause analysis, and escalate issues. Support internal audit, external audit, and regulatory exam inquiries. Collaboration Partner with Credit Risk, Lending Operations, Regulatory Reporting, Finance, and Data Management.
