Job Description

NPI Quality Engineer opportunity in Windsor, CT for a growing manufacturing company that has been investing heavily in its future, including millions in new equipment and a move into upgraded facilities. This is an exciting chance to join a decades old company that is expanding under private equity ownership, offering strong career growth potential and the opportunity to make a real impact in New Product Introduction quality. Qualifications and responsibilities for this NPI Quality Engineer position include: Must be a U.S. citizen with previous experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years of CMM programming experience required, including PC-DIMS and MCOSMOS for machined components.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, inspection methodologies, engineering drawings, CAD models, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Working knowledge and familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards.
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools such as Minitab and SPC for measurement data interpretation.
  • Develop and edit CMM programs, define inspection strategies, and identify proper fixturing, tooling, and setups for accurate measurements.
  • Perform MSA and gage R&R, review inspection and testing results, and verify product compliance with drawings and specifications.
  • Create and maintain quality documentation including control plans, inspection plans, FAI, and PPAP while working with cross-functional teams.
Salary :
$80,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
